- proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, MasterSeries, and SCIA Engineer
- strong attention to detail, with high standards for quality work, both written and oral communication skills
- dedication to continuous professional development, staying updated on industry innovations and best practices
- minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Structural Design Environment
- possession of a full driving license
- structural Engineering: 3 years
Responsibility
- managing and delivering structural design and detailing projects, both independently and as part of a team
- preparing and reviewing technical reports and feasibility studies
- join our award-winning Engineering Consultancy based in Ivybridge, Devon, and become part of a dynamic team working on exciting and challenging Structural Engineering projects primarily in the southwest region
- ensuring projects are designed in compliance with current design codes and regulations
- ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements and industry standards, while promoting a culture of awareness
- assisting in the compilation of fee estimates and tender documents for new projects
- collaborating with our Civil and Geotechnical departments to contribute to cross-departmental projects
- conducting site visits, surveys, inspections, and attending meetings, including those at domestic properties
