Responsibility
- lead and manage a warehouse team to maximize performance and achieve shift KPIs and standards
- set and communicate team objectives during daily performance briefings, highlighting areas of focus
- hold monthly one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance, development needs, and support in development activities
- recruit, onboard, and induct new team members, ensuring completion of induction and health & safety training
- ensure team compliance with health & safety, warehouse, and cleaning procedures, processes, and quality standards
Requirements
- experience working in a fast-moving warehouse and distribution environment
- experience managing a large team of warehouse operatives to achieve accurate high daily targets
- experience supporting delivery of business improvement initiatives
- experience managing warehousing regulatory health & safety checks and procedures
- experience managing industrial relations
- warehouse Management: 1 year
