Responsibility
- JLI is continuing our expansion within the UK, opening a brand new warehouse in Newport
- this facility will employ up to 100 people when it reaches full capacity in Q3 2024
- JLI relies on the efficiency of its fulfilment centres
- supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and shipping
- JLI is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our fast-growth company and oversee a modern facility
- to deliver on our promise to customers, we rely on exceptionally talented, bright and committed people
- conduct interviews for new warehouse operatives
- as our Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall smooth running of the warehouse
Requirements
- experience in a warehouse role managing a large team
- IOSH or NEBOSH certified
- experience and Knowledge of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment with a dynamic workload and fast turnarounds
- manual Handling Training, First Aid Training, PAT Test Certification
- excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- forklift licence
- ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
