Responsibility
- to achieve the sales revenue and net profit targets for the designated territory through current and new accounts
- to achieve the sales revenue and net profit targets for new product introductions through new and current accounts
- to attend meetings, events and activities as directed by the Sales & Marketing Director
- to identify and successfully pursue the engagement of end user accounts in support of sales to distributors
- to identify and successfully pursue direct accounts agreed with the Sales & Marketing Director as appropriate for this approach
- to attend and actively participate in the Company’s annual appraisal process
- to submit, within agreed timescales, reports and documents on business activities as directed by the Sales & Marketing Director
- to submit fully supported claims at agreed timescales for any agreed expenditure made where necessary and in order to carry out the role and achieve set objectives
Requirements
- at least four years operating in a field sales role or technical sales background
- experience of working as part of an extended team, particularly with office based sales and customer service colleagues
- persuasive
- basic database management will be an advantage
- solution seeking
- experience in manufacturing will be an advantage
- self motivated
- communicate at differing levels of authority
