Responsibility
- the successful candidate will assist with stock takes and rotation
- you’ll be IT literate, taking orders from email, arranging deliveries, composing delivery notes
- we are seeking a general labourer for our joinery/woodworking business. We are a small dynamic team that work hard together, so are looking for a team player that’s ready to get stuck in with whatever task the day brings
- you’ll pick stock and pack pallets for customer deliveries
- the successful candidate will be the first point of call at the site, welcoming visitors, customers and suppliers to the site. So you’ll be approachable, friendly and able to provide strong levels of customer service
- you’ll be responsible for general upkeep of the workshop and yard, ensuring its clean, tidy and safe at all times. Preparing areas for work including maintaining a fire pit, used for our production process
- our products are solid wood, so you’ll need to be capable of lifting / moving heavy loads up to 50kg, of course we will provide equipment including forklift and pallet truck, so experience in this area would be an advantage
- part of the role will include assisting with the finishing of the products including painting therefore you will have a strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
