Responsibility

- prepare painting surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks as needed

- protect adjacent areas, furniture, and fixtures from paint splatters and damage
- apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- select appropriate paints and materials based on project requirements and surface characteristics
- the successful candidate will be responsible for transforming interiors and exteriors of various properties into aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained spaces
- mix, match, and adjust colors to achieve desired shades and finishes
Requirements
- city & Guilds/NVQ2 or equivalent qualification in Painting and Decorating
- experience of working in the industry and various environments including reidential and commercial work
- health and Safety certification. CSCS card
- proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, with a portfolio showcasing your work
- solid knowledge of various painting techniques, tools, and materials
- asbestos awareness
- working at Height training
- ability to accurately assess project requirements and estimate material quantities
