Responsibility

  • JDC Building Works Ltd is seeking an Architectural Technician/ Designer to join our team
  • coordinate design drawings with the estimating team
  • this position will be responsible for assisting our Design and Construction team with various projects throughout the UK and ROI
  • responsible for overseeing all of your design drawings from inception through to completion and produce as built information
  • produce accurate design information for each job
  • the candidate must be proficient with AutoCAD and have a detailed knowledge of design regulations in both the UK and ROI
  • assist in the preparation of construction documents such as plans, elevations, floor plans, and other drawings
  • provide project related documents such as; AutoCAD models, and construction documents

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in Architecture or similar field from an accredited college or university required; Master’s degree preferred; Professional designation from a professional organization may be considered as part of degree program requirement
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Designer or an Architectural Technician desired
  • autoCAD: 2 years
