Responsibility
- we need a chef in our busy family run cafe
- the hours are Wednesday to Sunday 9am -3pm
- experience is vital
- there is a 10% bonus on all food sold after your daily target of £500 on food is achieved
- prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals in a timely manner
- no time wasters please
- collaborate with the restaurant team to create new menu items and specials
- ensure that all food meets quality and safety standards
Requirements
- proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting
- knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- food handler's certification is preferred
- chef: 2 years
