Responsibility
- janua Hortorum Ltd. are a small, friendly IT consultancy based in Sowerby Bridge, specialising in producing bespoke software solutions for a range of customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated developer to join our team
- if you have at least 6 months of commercial experience and are ready to move to a more challenging role, taking on greater responsibility and independence, then this opportunity could be for you
- you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of systems across a range of industries, taking control and responsibility for technology choices, design and implementation, as well as assisting in the development of on-going projects
- you will be encouraged and supported to broaden your skillset and explore new technologies, and time will be made for this during work hours
- we strive to maintain a strong work/life balance. Our working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and working outside of those hours is strongly discouraged
Requirements
- experience of Django or similar web frameworks
- python
- experience of Vue or a similar front-end framework
- git or another version control system
- typescript
- linux
- you do not need to be an expert in all of these, but at least some experience and a willingness to learn are necessary
