Requirements

  • programming experience using Fanuc control system
  • experience in programming and operating a 3 axis Vertical Machining Centre
  • experience in programming and operating Mill Turn with X, Z and C axis
  • offline programming experience in CAD CAM development
  • experience of using Feature CAM or similar
  • ability to prioritise and work under pressure along with strong project and time management skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibility

  • develop machining programmes for parts, ensuring set-up times and run times are minimised to gain maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • training and mentoring of new Machine Operators
