Requirements
- programming experience using Fanuc control system
- experience in programming and operating a 3 axis Vertical Machining Centre
- experience in programming and operating Mill Turn with X, Z and C axis
- offline programming experience in CAD CAM development
- experience of using Feature CAM or similar
- ability to prioritise and work under pressure along with strong project and time management skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibility
- develop machining programmes for parts, ensuring set-up times and run times are minimised to gain maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness
- training and mentoring of new Machine Operators
