Responsibility

  • be familiar with working in accordance with the homes policies and procedures
  • maintain confidentiality
  • accept duties as delegated provided these are provided within the scope of the individual
  • attend and contribute to all staff meetings and supervisions
  • attend training sessions and have a positive attitude to self development
  • to undertake other duties which maybe required and which are applicable to the post
  • support residents in a manner that promotes choices and beliefs, respect residents rights, Independence and involvement to achieve positive outcomes. Ensure care is provided in accordance with the residents care plan

Requirements

  • we require a minimum of three years experience within the learning disability sector, preferably have an NVQ/QCF level 2 in health and social care
  • sheffield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
