Responsibility

- assist with managing multiple clients with their payroll needs

- check hours, absences and holiday pay
- performing payroll requests
- as a Senior Payroll Officer you will be processing high volumes of end to end payroll for employees throughout the business
- performing ad-hoc payroll requests when required
- dealing and handling all payroll quires

- dealing with client queries and issues that may arise
- processing HMRC coding notices
- administering a large weekly payroll using Sage
- sage 50 Payroll processing
- pensions reporting
- participating in auditing processes
- process weekly and monthly PAYE payrolls
- pensions reporting and processing HMRC
- chasing overpaid funds with Umbrella companies and customers
- ensuring all deductions are reconciled
- supporting audit and compliance
- respond to all payroll related queries
- working as part of a team to ensure the accurate delivery of payrolls
- manage payroll inbox
- issue payslips
- handling payroll queries
- produce weekly and monthly payroll reports
- keeping senior management up to date with complaints, overpayments and any other issues
- maintaining up to date payroll processing procedures
- this is a 6 month fixed term contract with a view for the role to go permanent
- process monthly and end-to-end payroll
- maintaining a strong understanding of payroll legislation
- distribution of P45s
- submit RTI & EPS
Requirements
- end to end payroll experience
- sage Payroll Experience needed
- experience processing end to end payroll
