Responsibility

  • JAC2 Consultancy Ltd is looking for an Engineer/Support Technician to join our team in Preston Brook
  • this position is responsible for assisting customers with their IT needs
  • we would consider the right kind of person over the person with all the right skills, i.e
  • provide technical assistance with hardware, software , and peripherals
  • troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with end-users, documenting interactions and changes
  • work with other team members to resolve technical issues
  • perform daily and weekly maintenance & routines to ensure the smooth operations and risk management of ours and our customers systems
  • be aware of changes and emerging oppertunities and issues as they arise and formulate proposals based on these

Requirements

  • excellent communicator, face to face, verbally and written
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT role required
  • ability to explain complicated concepts in an appropriate way to clients and users
  • physically dealing with PCs / Servers / Cabling
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure situations
  • microsoft workstation, server operating systems and environments
  • MS Office 365 / Hosted Exchange / Azure & Cloud technologies
  • must be able to travel to clients sites and possibly overnight stays if beneficial for delivery of the project
