Responsibility
- J2 Subsea was established in 2008 to provide ROV tooling products and services for the ROV and underwater survey markets
- responsibilities/Duties
- liaise with and support Operations Manager in meeting client requirements on time and to expected standards
- check all Hire Equipment on return & prepare equipment for re-hire
- assist with the implementation of equipment test procedures for J2 equipment
- J2 Subsea are looking for a Workshop Technician on a full time permanent basis based in Aberdeen, The Workshop Technician will be responsible for carrying out the testing, service and repair of both J2 owned and 3rd party equipment to manufacturer's specifications and tolerances following in house test procedures
- as Workshop Technician, you will undertake several tasks in preparing equipment for rental or sale including equipment interfacing, maintenance, servicing and re- certification, all of which will be required to meet project deadlines
- completion of work order documentation for the assembly of new equipment
Requirements
- highlight recent technologies or working practices which may benefit the company by way of the Process Improvement Report process
- ensure you work in line with various areas of compliance, including but not restricted to Customs/Export Control/Import/Anti-Bribery/Quality Assurance
- ideally have a clean driving license and the ability to travel to global companies if necessary
