Responsibility
- hunt’s Food Group is proud to be a certified B corporation
- maintain ISO 45001 accreditation
- monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace
- workplace Fire safety and prevention
- staff training to manage risks and hazards in the workplace
- completion and review of H&S related training and accompanying documents
- working closely with the HR department to ensure relevant training is delivered to staff
- ensuring the business is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation
Requirements
- training to the IOSH and NEBOSH
- useful but not essential to have experience of working in a logistics based environment
- must be able to drive
- proven ability to learn new things. We expect the successful candidate to take the initiative, ask questions, look for continuous improvement and be accountable for their actions
- working collaboratively with others in the Technical team and with key stakeholders around the business. It is important for this candidate to be able to think of the bigger picture, not just the importance of one’s own agenda
- strong organisational, time-management and prioritisation abilities. The candidate will need to be approachable and enthusiastic. This is a fast-paced role which will compliment an individual who thrives in that environment
- 5 years + experience required in management of H&S
