Responsibility

- provide professional HSE advice throughout all areas of the regional business
- report directly to the Head of Safety and assist in promoting a positive HSE culture across the regional business achieving moral and legal compliance
- report KPI's to regional directors/ Head of Safety on a regular basis. Such items as incidents, service strikes, site visits, etc
- establish improvement strategies for Group consideration and monitor regional KPI's to identify areas for improvement, such as buried services etc. Implementing any agreed group procedures within your region
- champion change at M&J Evans Construction and drive a positive SHE culture, continually monitoring and providing assistance with the retention of external accreditations and keep abreast of Client standards
- ensure that all accidents and incidents are investigated and action plans completed to close items and prevent reoccurrence
- develop HSE procedures especially risk assessments and method statements to comply with current legislation, especially CDM 2015 when acting as principal contractor on M&J Evans sites, following up with ensuring HSE Advisor 2 weekly visits to these sites
