Responsibility

  • receiving and using information needed to fulfil production
  • the role will be 4 days per week Monday to Thursday 7.30am- 5.30pm
  • starting machinery and observing operations to detect malfunctions or defects, such as yarn breakage
  • overtime maybe required on a Friday am
  • the role will be on a temporary basis initially with a view to becoming permanent if successful
  • perform simple quality control activities to ensure quality of yarns. Report any issues or maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is approachable and works well as part of a team
  • manually remove or doff full packages and transport product to and from work area as needed

  • good observation skills
  • excellent hand and eye coordination
  • ability to work whilst standing for long periods of time as well as lift and move material
  • ability and willingness to work in a factory environment in which the use of hearing protection is mandatory
