Responsibility

- processing of samples on GC-FID/TCD to determine ethylene, carbon dioxide and oxygen concentrations
- GLP and document control
- due to our continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our team based in Burntwood, Staffordshire
- validation and verification of calibration and sample data
- you will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 to £30,000 plus health and life insurance, pension contribution
- technical report writing and providing progress updates to management on a regular basis
- assist in our on-going fruit trials as necessary, taking the form of quality assessments, photography, pressure measurements, sensory assessments and similar
Requirements
- BSc. Chemistry or similar
- GC calibrations
