Responsibility

  • the new vessel project manager is the owners representative responsible for the design, build and timely delivery of our new vessels
  • the project manager and site manager will work in consecutive rotation at the yard
  • during this time, they can expect to travel for meetings with various stake holders
  • the project manager reports directly to the CEO where weekly reports will be delivered to the Executive Directors
  • you will work together with the naval architects, Class society, MCA and shipyard management to represent the company’s best interests with the design and build of the new vessels, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget
  • you will oversee the consolidation and development of the new vessel designs, and ensure the vessels meet the specification requirements and all statutory regulations
  • the project manager will be supported by the site manager to provide continuous owners representation at the yard to verify the quality of work, compliance with the vessel specifications & designs and timeliness of the vessels build programs
  • qualifications & Experience
