  • ensuring the long life and cleanliness of the equipment provided
  • ensuring that the daily cleaning duties are carried out
  • ensuring that the pot wash area remains clean at all times
  • the bin areas are kept clean and tidy
  • all rubbish is removed to prevent tripping and fire hazards; all card is broken down before placing in the bin
  • the storage of equipment, crockery and cutlery is stored correctly
  • maintaining the floor in a clean, safe and hygienic manner throughout the shift
  • communicating in a positive manner to the senior chef team
