Responsibility

  • expand sales within existing contracts. Develop new business through new sales and 3rd party partnerships
  • work individually and when required with other members of the sales and marketing team on completion and submission of tenders
  • deliver sales values on or above agreed targets
  • input to the sales team on best practices and actively help to improve sales and marketing performance
  • generate and follow-up on new leads and track progress through sales system process and produce regular reports for Sales Director and Executive

Requirements

  • experience within either IT, humanitarian or payments sectors
  • effective in negotiating with customers and building positive relationships
  • ability to write reports and make presentations to customers and senior management
  • good negotiation and closing skills
  • business development experience in the developing world countries within Africa, Latin America, Asia
  • experience within biometric, mobile, Government-to-citizen or health sectors
  • 3 years+ experience in a Sales or Business Development Executive role, UK and/or International
