Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in mechanical product design, development and production
  • manufacturing process specification and their design requirements
  • working with external sub-contractors to oversee manufacture of prototype components and customised test equipment including jigs and fixtures
  • contribution to technical documentation to support a market approval application such as CE Mark
  • 3D CAD modelling , strong CAD skills – solid & surface modelling as well as 2D technical drawing creation preferably using Solidworks
  • contribution to a product development project from prototype phase through to manufacture for commercialisation including performance and reliability test development and execution
