Responsibility

  • review of Material Specifications and offering advice/input into Cost Estimates and Production Planning discussions
  • planning/Review of Purchasing/Production Routing , including
  • review of Purchase Orders issued to suppliers against our required specifications
  • review of Production requirements
  • review of incoming Material Certification against our project requirements
  • compiling Certification and Document Packs for submission to our clients
  • liaising with Customers and Suppliers in relation to Quality/Technical matters
  • physical Product Inspection

Requirements

  • excellent Decision-Making and Problem-Solving skills
  • previous Knowledge of the Special Fastener industry would be advantageous but is not essential
  • excellent Communication skills
  • knowledge and Understanding of Material Specifications
  • knowledge and Understanding of Processes such as NDE, Heat Treatment, Testing, etc
  • use of Metrology Measuring Equipment
  • use of Hardness Testing machine
  • use of XRF Analyser
