Responsibility
- the Senior Manager, Nature should be a contact point and subject matter expert for Ipieca’s
- nature programs. This position will lead the support for Ipieca’s Marine Spill and Water
- programs, and the main responsibilities of this position are to
- actively lead, promote, support, and coordinate the work of the Ipieca Nature program. This
- role primarily supports the Marine Spill Group and Water Working Group and their associated
- task Forces but will also support the Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services Working Group &
- environmental Group
- represent and lead the nature program in meetings, including additional sessions to the
Requirements
- significant post qualification experience of marine / oil spill response systems and
- practices, at the field operations and supervisor level. This experience may have been gained
- an OSRO, in oil & gas upstream or midstream operations, or in other relevant organizations
- in addition to the above, experience of, or a demonstrated interest in water management and
- the climate, biodiversity and ecosystem impacts and dependencies of water use in the oil &
- gas and energy industries would be a distinct advantage
- demonstrated project management and written and verbal communication skills
