Responsibility

  • being the ‘eyes and ears’ of the company through regularly feeding back retailer and consumer reaction and information
  • being the first line of contact and support for administrative and sales data issues for your territory
  • as part of the role there will be travel to visit key partners and customers
  • in conjunction with the Managing Director, develop sales globally by identifying and opening new key accounts and by optimising the sales and profitability of the existing account base
  • the Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sales strategies focused on expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth in the defined market
  • the successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to understand our product offerings and identify opportunities to create and deliver value to our customer
  • log and maintain all customer activity on the Company’s CRM system , ensuring the information is accurate and up to date at all times
  • follow up sales leads within 24 hours

Requirements

  • natural flair for selling
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B sales or business development
  • experience selling B2B and managing key accounts
  • experience working in a customer focused environment
  • numerate with the ability to produce and interpret performance data
  • approachable with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • understanding of consumer products and the market the Company operates in
  • ability to build strong business relationships
