fabricator

Responsibility
- we are looking for a Trainee Sign Fabricator to join our growing team in Brislington Bristol working alongside 5 experienced fabricators
- to undertake full training of paint spraying in our spray shop
- read drawings to determine material requirements and machine setups
- measure parts to determine their size and shape
- cut, form, bend, drill and grind parts to create 3D stainless steel / aluminium lettering
- paint preparation and painting of metal components
- fit up components to create finished signage
- test new products before they are put on the production line
Requirements
- no experience required, however, use of hand tools preferred
- conscientious with an eye for detail
- enthusiastic attitude towards work
- positive approach to 'hands on' production work
- willing to learn new skills
- able to work as part of a team
- self-motivated and able to use own initiative
- ability to meet deadlines
