Responsibility
- this is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Paraplanner to join a growing St. James’s Place practice
- you will be writing financial reports across a range of cases such as Pensions, Investments, Protection, and Estate Planning
- previous Paraplanning experience and a Level 4 Financial Planning qualification are required for this role
- consider current and future allocation of assets for an appropriate investment strategy with regards to the Client’s risk profile
- compiling, clear and comprehensive reports / suitability letters, with recommendations that are within compliance standards within the agreed timeframes
- obtaining information, quotes, illustrations and product details in order to provide meaningful comparisons for analysis
- assisting in the preparation of tax calculations where necessary
- tracking cases using computer tools such as Salesforce and SJP in-house systems
Requirements
- comprehensive financial report writing
- able to transpose information accurately
- strong numeracy skills
- comfortable using templated Suitability Letters
- proficiency using templated Suitability Letters
- confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion
- highly organised with excellent communication skills
- exceptional attention to detail
