Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- sub-assembly of various small electrical / mechanical sub-assemblies to be fitted to the vehicles
- installing electrical / mechanical equipment to a varied range of new emergency vehicles on production site
- installing/producing looms
- ability to use related tools to a good standard
- coachbuilder work- fitting panels, shelving cage units, floors, etc
- will be expected to work to very high and demanding standard, consistent with the type of vehicle being manufactured
Requirements
- must be able to work follow specific build instructions, take detailed notes and memorise installation details
- must be able to work on own initiative and unsupervised after training
- must have good communication skills and be a team player with ability to work closely with colleagues
- must have own basic tool set
- must work to a high standard of quality
- must have electrician/coachbuilder skills or very high DIY skills and ability to learn fast
