recruitment manager

Requirements

  • A demonstrable commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • direct experience and strong working knowledge of Safer Recruitment and employment guidance/ legislation
  • A self-starter, motivated to manage themselves and their workload
  • attention to detail, ability to interpret the data presented to draw appropriate conclusions and direct where action should be focused
  • collaborative team player with excellent negotiation and influencing skills; the ability to work across all levels
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and appropriately manage conflicting priorities
  • excellent presentation and training development / delivery skills
  • strong IT and systems skills

Responsibility

  • in conjunction with the Group Head of People Operations, Group Health and Safety Director
  • working in close collaboration with the Regional Heads of HR to ensure that regional and school recruitment and selection processes are fully in line with the ISP Safer Recruitment policy, best practice and local employment legislation
  • are financially responsible. We make financial choices carefully based on the needs of the children, students and our schools
