Responsibility
- responsible for providing product training
- responsible for delivering product information to journalists
- monitor and analyse new technology, market trends and entrants to the market
- responsible for providing the business with the necessary product knowledge and expertise to enable marketing and sales functions to successfully sell the product
- present to the management team
- responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the management team is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors’ products
- maintain a list of competitors for each model and derivative in the ranges, creating comprehensive competition analyses for marketing purposes
- understand and communicate changes in regulations, taxation and standards
Requirements
- experience in project management or product management
- skill to manage projects using advanced qualifications, techniques and Microsoft Project
- be able to understand the role of an importer vs. that of a manufacturer
- OEM background or supply chain knowledge a plus
- be prepared to go the extra mile
- advanced qualifications or degree in engineering or market research a plus
- to be a problem solver
- must be available for local and overseas travel to motor shows, manufacturer meetings and product launches
