Requirements

  • MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required
  • solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
  • extensive hands-on experience with leading data virtualization tools
  • strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • demonstrated full data lifecycle management from project inception, feasibility, and design to project delivery
  • knowledge of data governance, lineage, quality, and master data management best practices in a modern data platform
  • knowledge of programming languages inc. Python highly desirable
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset

Responsibility

  • castleton Commodities International is recruiting a Finance Data Architect to join our Global Finance Analytics and Reporting team within our London office
  • create and maintain logical and physical data models to represent business requirements for data reporting
  • we are looking for a hands-on and experienced Data Architect with expertise in Logical Data warehousing and Data Modelling to join our finance reporting team to transform how data is managed and utilized to make strategic decisions
  • lead the implementation and management of data virtualization tools and technologies to access and integrate data from disparate sources efficiently
  • as a Data Architect, you will play an essential role in designing, implementing, and optimizing critical data pipelines for financial reporting purposes
  • design and optimize data integration processes, including ETL workflows
  • your expertise will enable seamless integration of data from various systems and create a unified view of the key financial data landscape
  • collaborate with the Data management team to establish data governance policies, security measures, and quality standards
