Responsibility
- we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Electrician to join our team
- as a Domestic Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential buildings
- install and maintain electrical systems in residential buildings
- inspect and diagnose electrical problems in homes and apartments
- perform repairs and replacements of faulty electrical fixtures and fittings
- ensure that all work meets current electrical requirements and safety standards
- collaborate with other tradespeople
- communicate effectively with customers to explain work to be done and answer questions
Requirements
- completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work
- minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Domestic Electrician in residential settings
- strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- ability to read electrical diagrams
- proficiency with electrical tools and equipment
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
