Responsibility

  • we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Electrician to join our team
  • as a Domestic Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential buildings
  • install and maintain electrical systems in residential buildings
  • inspect and diagnose electrical problems in homes and apartments
  • perform repairs and replacements of faulty electrical fixtures and fittings
  • ensure that all work meets current electrical requirements and safety standards
  • collaborate with other tradespeople
  • communicate effectively with customers to explain work to be done and answer questions

Requirements

  • completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work
  • minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Domestic Electrician in residential settings
  • strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • ability to read electrical diagrams
  • proficiency with electrical tools and equipment
  • excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
