Responsibility
- we are recruiting for a Mig/Tig Welder for our Client Based in the WS10 area of the West Midlands
- we are looking for a Tig Welder for our Client in the Willenhall WV13 area
- short term contract only
- must be able to produce neat welds for ornamental purposes
- the hours are Mon – Thurs 7-3 Fri 8-1
- set up, prepare weld surface as required and weld in accordance with procedure and drawing
- pay DOE
- lay out and verify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring, marking instruments and knowledge of trigonometry
Requirements
- time served welding apprenticeship and the ability to demonstrate skills in coded welding
- ability to weld to coded standards
- minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering with proven experience as a coded welde
- ability to weld a pipe or plate using TIG and/or Stick welding process
- ability to work with various materials for example Carbon Steels and/or Stainless Steels ideally over a range of thicknesses
- CSCS card required
- tig welding: 1 year (preferred
- hours 8-430 Monday to Friday overtime available, client located in Dudley area, starting rate from £13.00 per hour depending on skill
