Requirements

  • knowledge of the sales order process
  • knowledge of the Radan drawing package desirable
  • knowledge of Composite Panel production process desirable
  • ability to gain understanding of all relevant Management Reporting Systems

Responsibility

  • support capacity planning activities ensuring delivery against operational requirements, and which optimise manufacturing efficiency and costs
  • ensure scheduling of production orders to ensure maximum efficiency and conduct any appropriate analysis
  • ensure flexibility within Production Schedule to accommodate unanticipated customer and/or production issues
  • we are currently working in partnership with one of the UKs leading manufacturing companies, who are looking to recruit an experienced Production Planner. This position is based in Warnell, near Carlisle
  • as a planner, you will primarily work on learning the galvanised programming / planning but in time will be expected to learn the composite panel programming / planning, profile and flashing programming and planning
  • continually review and improve plans to ensure achievement of customer demands
  • to communicate with members of the work team, senior managers, and other work groups
  • carry out any administrative procedures required accurately and punctually
