  • we are recruiting for a general building and construction labourer from the Birmingham/Solihull area, to work in all areas of construction and on varied and busy sites
  • the role will involve being adaptable in assisting trades and multiskilled engineers in works preparation and on site, whilst ensuring health and safety is upheld at all times and all sites kept clean
  • dependent upon your experience, skill, hard work, and your contribution to the role
  • the successful candidate will also be responsible for collecting and distributing equipment and materials to our Engineer which is why it is an essential to have a full, clean UK driving licence

  • full clean driving license is required
  • city & Guilds is not required however is preferable
  • IPAF is not required however is preferable
  • first Aid qualification is not required however is preferable
  • previous experience in working in commercial properties e.g. offices, retail parks, industrial sites etc
  • previous experience in working in a commercial facilities management background
  • good, clear communication skills will be required to liaise with clients and colleagues
  • experience using a multitude of trades inclusive of but not limited to; roofing, carpentry, plastering, decorating, plumbing etc

  • operate all tools and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions to avoid accidents
