Responsibility

  • lead the planning and execution of all aspects of the annual SBS forum
  • negotiate, manage and maintain excellent professional relationships with existing sponsors, media partners and all other event stakeholders
  • identify and recruit suitable sponsors, exhibitors and speakers
  • generate monthly reports/metrics to monitor the progress of the event and effectiveness of the event marketing strategy
  • create and manage pre-event briefing and post-event review for internal and external stakeholders
  • increase SBS brand awareness across all marketing channels
  • generate and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • organise company training courses and other marketing events

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in the planning and execution of large events
  • degree or equivalent in marketing-related subject
  • strong leadership skills, preferably with previous line management or team management experience
  • experience of managing six figure budgets
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • highly motivated, with good organisational skills
  • commercial awareness and business acumen
  • ability to think strategically and creatively
