Responsibility
the main duties will include system design, system implementation, leading multi-disciplined project teams, stakeholder management and customer liaison
from the beginning you will be responsible for driving forward existing projects, as well as providing support to winning new business
the successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of DMR and preferably Tetra radio systems
the primary purpose of this role is to ensure the successful through-life delivery of all projects to the appropriate time, cost and quality criteria
we encourage our staff to continually improve their professional development and knowledge, in support of ongoing business needs
the successful applicant will become part of a small team of experienced project engineers, radio engineers and installation engineers implementing two way radio projects in multiple sectors including defence, utilities and transportation
previous experience of system design and implementation is essential, working in the Defence sector would be advantageous, and five or more years of project experience would be highly desirable
whilst the role is based in Cambridgeshire, the post will require the successful candidate to be willing to undertake occasional travel within the UK or abroad in support of project or business activities and to occasionally work outside of normal working hours
