Responsibility
- the role is a great opportunity for a Production Operative to assist in the production line
- assisting team leaders on the production line
- quality control checks on finished units awaiting delivery
- assistance with stock control
- ensuring a safe and clean work environment is maintained by keeping shelves, storage areas and workstations neat
- providing a quality service by following organisational standards
- duties will include being a part of the production process of the integrated blind units, receiving supplier deliveries and placing stock into inventory, quality control for manufactured units ready for delivery & general day to day tasks as required
- this is currently a temporary position with an initial 3 month contract but with a view to a permanent position following this
Requirements
- well organised, tidy & reliable
- ability to meet physical demands of the job including heavy lifting
- self-motivated
- good communicator
- ability to work individually & as part of a team
- previous manufacturing experience desirable
- previous experience with glass desirable
- warehouse experience: 1 year
