Responsibility

  • based in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, Intake Transport are a family run business specialising in UK heavy haulage
  • with over 25 years' experience in the industry we are a well established haulier working with a wide-ranging list of customers
  • we have a growing fleet of around 20 units & 90 trailers
  • we are currently seeking an experienced HGV mechanic / fitter to join our hard working, friendly, team

Requirements

  • basic Mechanical engineering
  • routine maintenance standards as required by DVSA
  • unit & Trailer bodywork construction
  • auto -electrical systems and components
  • HGV license desirable but not essential
  • be able to work alone or as part of a team
  • must be reliable & flexible
  • be in good health & Physical ability to successfully carry out the duties required
