Local Assist are looking for experienced enthusiastic, empathetic people to join our expanding team for an essential Full time role to take on afternoon/late shifts.Who are Local Assist?Local Assist provide a claims validation and management service to include contractor deployment within domestic properties nationwide for multiple clients in the insurance industry. We also supply a variety of out of hours coverage and services for our clients.We are looking to recruit an individual with a great attitude, along with a good knowledge of insurance claims handling.The position would suit someone with a confident telephone manner, good IT skills and with experience of working in a fast-paced office environment. Empathy and good customer service skills are essential as the customer journey is predominant. Thanks to our ongoing training, your knowledge of our services, systems, regulatory and business processes will be second-to-none. As a claims handler, we look for the following attributes:· A great listener, who can understand what our Customers need· Eager to learn all about our services and processes· Dedicated to providing excellent customer service· Detail-focused, so you can follow our processes correctly· Able to use a computer, so you can get to grips with our software and systemsThe role will include taking new claims, policy cover review, acceptance, or repudiation of a claim right through to the deployment of approved panel contractor to rectify the insured works. We also specialize in providing a vital Out of hours service for our clients and customers.This will include booking of appointments with the contractor and customer and keeping an open line of communication with all parties until the job has been completed.The role will also require the candidate to manage a claim through its entire lifecycleResponsibilities i
