Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • answer inbound calls for a variety of travel revenue streams around the world
  • support luxury and non-luxury online travel agency sites
  • provide first call resolution on all calls
  • action rebooks on existing bookings effected by supplier cancellations
  • manage customer file from start to finish
  • provide documentation and itineraries for high end customers
  • assist crisis management team on effected bookings
  • offer head office support to remote workers

Requirements

  • previous experience of selling in a travel agency / call centre environment
  • knowledge of UK Travel practices and seasonal demands
  • galileo knowledge preferred
  • dolphin knowledge preferred
  • knowledge of dynamic packaging – airlines, ground handlers and hotels
  • excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence and ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times and at all levels
  • A self-starter who enjoys the challenge of a demanding and varied work flow
  • previous experience within the travel industry sector
