Responsibility
- high volume invoice processing
- checking invoices against supplier contracts
- insight Travel Services Ltd is based in Port Glasgow and provides services to various companies within The Travel Corporation Group. A vacancy has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant
- good organisational skills
- we have a large Accounts Payable Department which is responsible for processing and paying invoices received from our British and European Suppliers. We are looking for someone to join our team
- assist with supplier queries by email & telephone
- supplier statement reconciliations
- additional ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- previous Accounts Payable experience is preferred but not essential
- highly numerate with strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- have a pleasant and polite telephone manner and be aware of the importance of ensuring good supplier relationships are always maintained
- be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- during the busy season, must be willing to work extra hours if required
