Responsibility

  • ensure the monthly programme of projects for approval are properly prepared for review and approval by the Exec
  • facilitate and ensure the Capex plans for commercial/business areas and sites are progressed in a timely manner
  • ensure the annual and longer-term programme and the business objectives and budgets are aligned
  • ensure project completion reviews are completed and trends and learning are included in improvement plans
  • provide analysis and forecasts in conjunction with the Capex Control Manager
  • ensure that the Capex processes and procedures used across the business are effective and developed for improvements and emerging issues

Requirements

  • graduate engineer with 4-5 years relevant experience in chemical manufacturing
  • results focused and able to challenge core assumptions and conclusions
  • able to follow basis of safety or engineering calculations
  • self-starter
  • teamworker
  • able to positively influence managers
  • proficient at use of spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • sharepoint and document management experience
