Responsibility
- capacity planning, organising, and implementing actions to meet customer requirements by utilising best available manufacturing practices
- accomplishing objectives by establishing operating plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections
- optimise production processes. Develop, revise and document manufacturing processes to meet cost and quality targets
- responsible for setting and exceeding performance objectives in productivity, OTIF and production costs
- monitor employees’ department productivity, efficiency, and quality by developing current operational and working practices
- responsible for meeting deliverable objectives for all aspects of quality control and safety
- initiate actions to prevent any non-conformity related to products, processes, and systems
- make rational use of available resources for the development of activities, such as materials, consumables, labour, and utilities
Requirements
- minimum 5 years’ experience in Operational Management
- previous laser subcontracting, fabrication and sheet metal experience is essential
- knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication best practices
- knowledge of Lean manufacturing is desirable
- competence to successfully lead, challenge, inspire and encourage others
- operations management: 5 years
- highly organised, a good time manager, ability to delegate tasks
- result oriented with the ability to achieve the target within given time
