Responsibility

management of a team of Project Managers to develop and manage a variation programme across the portfolio
oversee and deliver the variations programme ensuring performance measures are identified, agreed and met
identify and manage risk within the programme, escalating as required
act as the variations subject matter expert, providing technical knowledge and guidance
appoint specialist contractors and advisors, managing their contribution and ensuring they deliver to project deliverables
manage the development of standard form documentation and project specific derogations
attend Board meetings, providing regular updates on projects and the overall programme, reporting on performance against key metrics including, resourcing, financial, legal, timescales, health and safety and technical measures

Requirements

educated to degree level or equivalent in a related technical discipline with at least five years post qualification experience
PMO certification desirable
experience of delivering built environment projects in a PPP/PFI environment
experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
inspirational leader, committed to the professional development of their team members
