Requirements
- experience in Underwriting preferably within the specialist lending industry
- ceMAP Qualified is ideal but not necessary
- personable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with and build rapport with Introducers, Brokers, Applicants, Solicitors
- the ability to relay detailed information in a clear and concise manner both written and verbally
- organised and able to manage time critical tasks, prioritising them accordingly
- accurate and focused with an attention to detail
- able to demonstrate you are hardworking, flexible, and able to work under your own initiative but also as a Team Player
- underwriting: 2 years
Responsibility
- complete other general administrative tasks as required
- be able to work within prescribed procedures, practices and agreed SLAs
- be able to effectively deal with incoming and outgoing phone calls and communications
- flag concerns and credit risks on information that has been collated
- preparing Credit Papers to a high standard, detailing the purpose, key components and decisioning, concluding with your recommendation for each loan application
