Responsibility

  • ensure all machinery and equipment is safe to use and that all documentation is completed to the required standard
  • ensure that safe systems of work are followed and risk assessments are completed as required
  • management of contractors as required
  • manage preventative and predictive maintenance routines on a wide range of filling and packaging machinery
  • writing of SOP’s / Work Instructions as required
  • maintain Mechanical, Electrical and Site services equipment
  • work with Engineering colleagues and members of the Manufacturing team to fully understand breakdown issues
  • support the losses meetings to identify least reliable equipment and carry out corrective actions and improvements
