Responsibility
- Act as the focal point for all daily operational transport issues
- Monitor the performance of the sub-contractor fleet and raise any issues with the appropriate company
- Document all changes to the Delivery Plan and produce an accurate Confirmed Delivery Plan
- Responding to customer enquiries, providing quotation and keep them updated on progress of their deliveries
- Authorise all company driver’s pay and confirmation of sub-contractor costs
- Ensure the fuel management system is correctly used by all Widnes drivers
- Assist in the closing out job files by obtaining POD and other required information
- Reviewing routes and suppliers to ensure transport is planned cost effectively
Requirements

- dealing with tankers or HGV: 1 year
