- this position would suit art therapists, freelance artists, art teachers or someone with an art based background, e.g
- in textiles, illustration, sculpture
- you will be required to adapt your skills to create fun, meaningful and varied art activities to suit the client
- ideally you will have had previous experience working with autism
- in this capacity you will be an integral member of our established home-run team, working with other highly motivated individuals
- we are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed person with experience in art to work with a young Autistic man who enjoys arts and crafts
- the successful applicant must be fun, flexible, self-motivated, creative and committed to helping this young man achieve his potential
- this young man struggles with language so the ability to pick up non-verbal cues is essential
