  • indie 16 are a unique organisation providing semi independent living for 16-18 year olds with a range of needs and behaviours. All individuals are supported during the day and attend either college or are in employment
  • being proactive, having initiative and being self-driven is vital for this role
  • you must have a full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle

  • to undertake supervisions, probationary reviews, and appraisals of Youth Support Workers
  • to be responsible for the service in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • to coordinate shifts and ensure all duties are carried out by the team on duty
  • ensure that all reports are completed including Risk Assessments. All of which must be reviewed and updated as required
  • to support the aims and objectives of the service and assist the Registered Manager in providing a high-quality establishment for the individuals
  • liaise with the Registered Manager weekly to address any issues unless they require urgent attention
  • reporting all safeguarding issues to the Registered Manager for the setting to promote the safeguarding and welfare of the individuals, members of the public and other members of staff
